My result seems wrong — what should I do?
Try recording again closer to the sound source, during the exact conditions when the noise is loudest. Background noise and distance significantly affect accuracy. Check the top-3 predictions in your result — the correct fault is often listed there even if it is not the primary diagnosis.
The recording button is not working.
Check that your browser has microphone permission for fixmycarsound.com (Settings → Privacy → Microphone). Safari on iOS requires the page to be loaded over HTTPS and the microphone permission granted per session.
My diagnosis is not showing up.
Results are stored in your browser session. If you cleared cookies or switched devices, the result will not be available locally. If you copied the shareable link before leaving the page, that link still works permanently.
